It’s interesting what gives you the idea for an exhibit. It usually seems to be a particular painting that gives me the idea for an exhibit theme. And, today’s painting has given me the kernel of a prompt for my next one: water and light.
So, here’s the painting that has inspired me. This may, of course, not be the final idea but it is a starting point. It is a side channel of the Takhini River at sunset, near Mendenhall Landing.
